Mustapha Bundu has officially joined German 2. Bundesliga side Hannover 96 on a free transfer from English Championship club Plymouth Argyle.
Bundu was a key player for Plymouth Argyle last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 42 Championship matches. The 28-year-old Sierra Leone international penned a contract that's valid until June 2028.
Despite his impressive contributions, the club faced relegation to League One. His departure leaves a void, with no replacement yet announced by Plymouth.
Hannover 96 confirmed the signing on social media, welcoming Bundu and highlighting his move from the English second division. Sporting director Marcus Mann lauded Bundu as "a very complete striker," praising his physicality, versatility, and pressing ability.
Bundu is set to join his new teammates for preseason training as Hannover 96 prepares for the upcoming 2. Bundesliga campaign.
