NPRA DG to Participate in World Petroleum Council Conference and Youth Forum in Kuwait

The Director General of the National Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NPRA) has been invited to participate in the prestigious 2025 World Petroleum Council (WPC) Energy committee meeting and the 8th WPC Energy Youth Forum, both held in Kuwait City.


These significant events, scheduled for 22nd and 23rd October, 2025, are to be hosted under the Patronage of His Excellency Tarek Suleiman Ahmed Al-Roumi, Minister of Oil for the State of Kuwait, will convene global industry leaders and young professionals. 



The forum, themed "Empowering the Future: Connecting Young Professionals, Ideas & Knowledge," is designed to foster intergenerational dialogue, showcase innovations, and develop future leadership in the energy sector. 


It will provide a key platform for young professionals to network and exchange views with senior representatives from leading global oil companies, promoting a culture of inclusion and innovation.


The WPC Energy Council and committee meetings will precede the Youth Forum. 


During the visit, Sierra Leone is scheduled to hold bilateral engagements with key partners, including the Ministry of Oil, Kuwait Oil Company, the Canadian National Committee, and the Sierra Leone Embassy in Kuwait City. 



The delegation’s participation underscores the NPRA’s commitment to engaging in critical international discussions shaping the future of global energy policy and collaboration.
