President Julius Maada Bio visited the Police Medical Training and Rehabilitation Center (PMTC) in Hastings to meet individuals recovering from Kush addiction, as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to tackle the drug epidemic through rehabilitation and reintegration.

During the visit, President Bio interacted with patients, medical staff, and administrators, hearing firsthand the personal stories of struggle and recovery. He expressed concern over the devastating effects of Kush on individuals and communities and noted the challenges people face in overcoming addiction.
