Remains of Former APC Chairman Minkailu Mansaray Arrives in Sierra Leone

The remains of the late Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, former National Chairman of the All People’s Congress (APC), have arrived at Freetown International Airport in Lungi.
The body was received by family members, senior APC officials, party supporters, and sympathisers who gathered at the airport for the initial funeral arrangements.
A long-serving figure in Sierra Leone’s political landscape, Mansaray held several key positions during his career, including Member of Parliament and Minister of Labour, before serving as APC National Chairman.
Widely regarded as a senior party figure, he played a significant role in the APC’s organisational and leadership structures for many years.
His passing has drawn tributes from party members and supporters, who have described him as a dedicated politician who contributed to national development.
Mourners gathered quietly at the airport to receive the remains, reflecting the solemnity of the occasion.
The APC is coordinating further funeral arrangements in consultation with the family.
