Samuel Gandi Joins FC Politehnica Iasi

Sierra Leonean football star, Samuel Gandi, has officially signed a long-term contract with Moldovan club FC Politehnica Iasi. The skilled former Old Edwardians player has successfully completed his medical examinations and is expected to join the team's training sessions today.

Gandi, affectionately referred to as "Amaki," was a key player for the Shooting Star team in the recently concluded U-20 WAFU tournament in Egypt. His outstanding performances throughout the competition attracted considerable attention from scouts across Europe and internationally.

At just 18 years old, Gandi is regarded as one of Sierra Leone's most promising young talents. He is now set to make his international debut with FC Politehnica UTM Chișinău in the highly competitive Moldovan top league, marking a significant milestone in his developing career.
