Sierra Leone's Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, has expressed his strong conviction that the nation is on track to achieve middle-income status by 2039.

Speaking after a series of high-level meetings in London, Dr. Sengeh highlighted the growing interest from international investors in key sectors such as agro-processing, mining, digital technology, fintech, and infrastructure.

He underscored the government's efforts to cultivate a stable and predictable investment climate, making it easier for foreign capital to enter and contribute to the country's development objectives.

The Chief Minister's optimism was palpable, noting that top development finance institutions and banks are already actively involved in the country.

"I believe more than ever that by 2039, Sierra Leone will be a middle-income country," he asserted, emphasizing the nation's readiness for global business and the existing engagement of international investors.
