The Ministry of Youth Affairs has successfully secured Sierra Leone's participation in the prestigious Global Goals 2030: Africa Scholarship Programme. This approval, confirmed in a press release dated December 19, 2025, grants eligible Sierra Leonean youth access to partially funded international academic opportunities, underscoring the Government’s commitment to human capital development and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.


The programme offers partial scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, covering 90% of the total programme cost, with successful applicants contributing the remaining 10%. Studies are available in high-demand fields such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Finance, and Business Administration, delivered via online asynchronous learning through accredited U.S. institutions like Memorial Florida University.




These strategically aligned courses aim to equip young citizens with globally competitive skills essential for national priorities in technology, governance, and private sector growth. Interested and qualified applicants are encouraged to submit their electronic applications, including all required supporting documents, to info@mova.gov. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
