Sierra Leone U-17 Boys Departs for Mali Ahead of WAFU Zone

The Sierra Leone U-17 national boys’ team has departed Freetown for Bamako, Mali, to compete in the CAF U-17 African Nations Cup Qualifiers (WAFU Zone A) from 6th to 18th October 2025.
The young Leone Stars will open their campaign on Monday, 6th October, against Senegal. The qualifiers serve as the pathway to the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The delegation is led by SLFA Executive Committee Member Mohamed Sorie Jalloh and includes technical, medical, and administrative staff.
The Sierra Leone Football Association has expressed confidence in the squad, wishing them success as they represent the nation on the regional stage.
