Sierra Leonean FIFA-Badged Referees Officiate WAFU-A U-17 Qualifiers

Sierra Leonean FIFA-badged referees Aminata Fullah and Agnes Abdul Gbla have represented the country at the ongoing WAFU-A U-17 AFCON Qualifiers in Senegal.
Fullah served as the Fourth Official, while Abdul Gbla was appointed as Assistant Referee One for the match between Liberia and Guinea at Stade Lat Dior de Thiès.
The appointments highlight the growing participation of Sierra Leonean female referees in regional football competitions and reflect the country’s continued progress in women’s football officiating.
Their involvement in the WAFU-A U-17 AFCON Qualifiers also provides an opportunity for the two officials to gain further international experience while representing Sierra Leone on the regional stage.
Fullah and Abdul Gbla’s appointments come as Sierra Leone continues to see increased representation of female match officials in regional and international football competitions.
