Sierra Leonean Officials to Take Charge of Mozambique-Sudan Qualifier
A four-member team of Sierra Leonean FIFA-badged referees has been appointed to officiate the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifying fixture between Mozambique and Sudan.
The Group J Matchday Two encounter is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto in Maputo, Mozambique.
Sulaiman S. Kamara will serve as the centre referee, with Mamoud A. Conteh and Alusine Conteh appointed as Assistant Referees 1 and 2 respectively. Rashid Mohamed Conteh will serve as the fourth official.
The appointment provides another continental opportunity for Sierra Leonean match officials to represent the country in a major CAF competition and play key roles in the management of the AFCON 2027 qualifying encounter.
Mozambique will host Sudan as both teams continue their pursuit of points in Group J, with the match forming part of the second round of the qualifying campaign.
