SLPP PRO Mambu Says Party Office Construction Contributes to National Development

The SLPP National Publicity Secretary, Moses Mambu, has stated that the construction of the party’s national office is not only beneficial to party members but also contributes to broader national development in Sierra Leone.

Speaking during an interview on Liberty Online TV, Mambu explained that when political party infrastructure is developed particularly by a governing party it can extend beyond internal party functions to deliver wider national benefits.

He noted that the SLPP party office project should not be viewed solely as a structure for party activities, but rather as part of a broader political framework that supports governance, coordination, and national organisation.

“When you get a constructive political party that leads the country like SLPP, it is a benefit to the country,” he said.

Mambu further emphasised that strong political institutions play a key role in promoting national development and political stability, especially when the party is in government.

His comments have generated debate on the role of political party infrastructure in national development in Sierra Leone.
