Moses Mambu, Public Relations Officer for the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP), has accused the All People's Congress (APC) of employing deceptive tactics and intimidation to secure power in the 2007 elections.
Mambu asserted that the APC utilized outdated strategies to influence voters and achieve victory, methods he claims would be deemed unacceptable in the current political climate.
He further stated that the SLPP is now guided by a new leadership committed to national progress, unswayed by traditional political maneuvers. Mambu emphasized that this signifies a distinct evolution in the SLPP's engagement with citizens and its approach to governance.
During a recent media interview, Mambu underscored the shifting political landscape, urging the APC to acknowledge these changes. He affirmed that the SLPP will prevent the recurrence of such tactics in the 2028 elections.
The SLPP PRO concluded by stating the party's unwavering commitment to transparency, fairness, and effective voter engagement in preparation for the upcoming polls.
