SLPP's Tunis Says President Bio’s Work Could Keep SLPP in Power for 30 Years

Mohamed Sidie Tunis, former Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament and current Member of Parliament for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) representing Pujehun District, has said that the work being done by President Julius Maada Bio could keep the SLPP in power for the next 30 years.

Tunis made the statement while addressing party supporters, noting that the ruling party’s strength is rooted in the government’s ongoing development projects.

He further suggested that if the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) “is listening,” they should consider supporting President Bio instead of opposing him.

According to Tunis, President Bio’s initiatives in infrastructure, education, and healthcare are already evident at the local level, boosting the SLPP’s appeal across the country.
