Spanish club U.D. Torre del Mar is reportedly pursuing a deal to acquire Sierra Leonean midfielder Alusine Koroma. The Málaga-based side, competing in the Tercera Federación (Spain’s fifth tier), aims to enhance its midfield depth for a strong finish in Group 9 as they battle for a promotion play-off spot.
Koroma, 25, is a well-established figure in Spanish football, having spent much of his professional career in the country. The move offers a professional reset for the versatile central midfielder, who has been a free agent since departing Orihuela CF in January 2025.
His profile is appealing: Koroma brings technical skill, a strong work ethic, and tactical flexibility, having previously featured for clubs like Real Balompédica Linense and Vélez CF. Crucially, he is a regular for the Sierra Leone national team with over 15 caps, including recent appearances in high-stakes qualification matches.
For Torre del Mar, securing a player of Koroma's international caliber, who is already acclimated to the Spanish style of play and familiar with the Málaga region, represents a significant strategic advantage for the latter half of the season. The transfer window will determine if this move is finalized.
