Moses Mambu, the National Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), has announced an ambitious fundraising campaign designed to bolster the party’s resources ahead of the 2028 general elections

During a recent broadcast on Slik TV, Mambu reported that the party executive has successfully secured over Le 8 billion to date. He outlined plans to scale these efforts, aiming for a total capital reserve of between Le 40 billion and Le 50 billion to support upcoming electoral operations.


This financial initiative is a core component of the SLPP’s strategic framework to enhance organizational capacity and streamline mobilization efforts. By establishing a robust financial foundation early in the cycle, the party intends to ensure comprehensive preparation for campaign logistics and voter outreach.
